42" (Species X parentage unknown, involving I. virginica and I. versicolor) Standards dark violet; style arms reddish-violet, paler edges; falls velvety dark violet, light yellow signal edged white, dark veins. Spring foliage dark red, stems intense black, slight sweet fragrance.
